Paula Fürstenberg (Author)

Paula Fürstenberg was born in 1987 and grew up in Potsdam. After a two-year residence in France she studied at the Suisse Literary Institute in Biel. Since 2011 she is living and writing in Berlin. She has received the Hattinger Advancement Award for young literature, a working scholarship from the constituent state of Brandenburg and the Berlin Senate and held a scholarship for the authors workshop at the Literary Colloquium Berlin in 2014. She is a member of the Kunsthaus Strodehne association and an active member of the network of the free literary scene Berlin (NFLB). Her debut novel »Familie der geflügelten Tiger« was published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2016. Currently she is writing a highschool novel with a class of 8th graders from Brandenburg and is working on her second novel at the international artist residency Villa Concordia in Bamberg.
