March is just around the corner and with it another colorful bouquet of consultation days, where our experts will answer your individual questions on a variety of practical topics in free 45-minute one-on-one appointments.
Are you new to the Berlin literary scene and need some initial guidance? On March 3 and 4, Saskia Warzecha will advise you on how to find intermedia reading opportunities, how to connect with other writers in the city, which collectives and scholarship opportunities are available and much more.
On 6 March, Franziska Winkler will give advice in German spoken language and in German Sign Language on how to organize accessible event projects and on what needs to be considered for successful collaboration between deaf and hearing literary professionals. If you need a sign language interpreter to take part in this consultation, you can contact us via anmeldung(at)literaturszene.berlin.
How can I acquire funding for my project? How can I formulate the creative part of my project in line with the application requirements? What should I pay particular attention to when writing the relevant application documents? What do the selection committees attach particular importance to? How do I write a financing plan? How do I efficiently implement an approved project application? And not to forget: How do I calculate and complete a project on time? Katrin Thomaneck will address these and other questions from prospective literary organizers in the consultation sessions on 11 March.
All authors who were unable to get an appointment with Axel Haase in February will also have another opportunity on March 13 to get tips from him on finding an agency and publisher.
Our consultations will take place (depending on the consultant) either via Zoom or in person in our consultation room at Kolonnenstr. 26. You can register here.
We hope to see you at one of our counseling appointments in the coming weeks.
