[vc_column width=”2/3″] Carsten Schmidt, Dr. phil, Mag., born 1978, studied German, English and history in Rostock, Potsdam and Bradford (UK). He works as a translator, copywriter and concept developer for agencies and private clients. He edits book projects for authors from various publishing houses in Switzerland, Austria and Germany and works as a writing coach. For more than 15 years he has been performing his own texts on reading stages. Poems and short stories have been included in several anthologies and he has written over 200 reviews for cultural magazines. In 2014 and 2015 he was the author of the “morgenstoern-Kolumne” of the cabaret portal stoersender.tv. Since 2011 Carsten Schmidt lives in Berlin and Görlitz. He is the author of 5 books in the fields of science biography, novel, essay collection and poetry, including 2 in self-publishing.
