Susan Stone is a prize-winning freelance journalist for radio, print and online publications, with an emphasis on culture and storytelling. She spent a decade at the American broadcaster NPR, before coming to Berlin on a Bosch-Scholarship. Since then, she has written for NPR, the Los Angeles Times, WWD, Monocle and Deutsche Welle, amongst others. Additionally, she has been a jury member for the RIAS Media Prize since 2019. Since 2019 she has also produced the Berlin Policy Journal podcast and the Weltkiosk Talks podcast. She has produced the Dead Ladies Show podcast since 2017. The English-language podcast is based on a popular bilingual German-English Live Show. Both were funded both by Bard College Berlin and the Berlin Senate.
