New Consultation Days Coming Soon

Our consultation days for authors and creators are starting again soon!

On the 12th, 19th and 26th of August, we are offering appointments focusing on data protection and digitalisation, grant applications and accounting and tax as a freelancer.

As all appointments are individual consultations, we ask that you book an appointment in advance via our registration form: https://www.literaturszene.berlin/beratungsangebot/termin-buchen/

On the 12th August, author and photographer Rabea Edel will consult on exposé-writing, grant applications and approaching publishers. She is the author of two novels, a jury member for the “Treffen Junger Autoren” (Berliner Festspiele) and has been the recipient of several grants and bursaries. She will explain the processes of grant applications and of approaching publishers for independent authors. On the 19th August there will be a consultation day for literary freelancers who have questions about taxes or accounting. Eva Stelzer’s areas of expertise are the basics of accounting, tax and correct bookkeeping. On the 26th August we will continue with a day dedicated to data protection and digital law: Karina Filusch is an expert in contract law and digital law. She is a lawyer, teaches at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht in Berlin and is also engaged as a volunteer with various organisations.

Please note: The consultations will take place as planned, but until further notice will do so over video conference or telephone. Please include a telephone number when registering for a session, to be forwarded on to the consultant.
