The initial December dates of our consulting programme are already fixed! We look forward to being able to offer you more consulting days on interesting topics. The one-on-one consultations are currently still being held by telephone or digitally.
The first session on the 2nd of December is suitable for all literary authors who are interested in self-publishing as an alternative to the established publishing houses. Our advisor Anja Schreiber is an author, blogger and self-publisher and is highly active in the Selfpublisher Association. On the 3rd of December the former literary agent Valentin Tritschler will discuss the topic of searching for agencies and publishers. Then, on December 5th, we will continue with a consultation day on the “Verwertungsgesellschaft Wort” – which has become an important source of income for many authors. Henry Steinhau will be happy to answer all your questions about how it works or, for example, the terms of membership.
Literary event organisers should register for the following date on the 8th of December. Then Karla Montasser will inform you about existing funding opportunities and how to write an appropriate application! Have you always wanted to explore the format of a podcast for yourself? Susan Stone is a long-time expert in this field. The podcast she produces, “The Dead Ladies Show”, has been running since 2017 and she will gladly answer any questions you may have about editing, production or platforms in a free individual consultation on December 9th. On the 14th of December, you will have the opportunity to talk to Yvonne de Andrés about the effective use of digital tools and relevant networks for literary creators. As an advisory board member of the BücherFrauen association, she can especially give female authors helpful advice on professional support. Finally, on December 16th, we will offer a classic consultation day with Daniela Seel on the topic of grants, exposé and publishing house approach.
