Michael Meisheit, who recently gave us exciting insights in his career path as selfpublisher in this interview, has been publishing books by himself for ten years. Irrespective of whether you have already made first experiences with this form of publishing or it is completely new to you, Michael Meisheit will advise you on the possibilities and challenges of selfpublishing on the 9th of June.
If you prefer the classic way of approaching publishing houses or agencies, you will have the opportunity to get advice from Axel Haase on June the 15th. Axel Haase is the founder and has been the managing director of a literary agency for twenty-five years. He does not only know what is important when representing authors, but also what is crucial when applying to an agency or a publishing house.
Translators and producers of literary events won’t be left empty-handed before the summer break, either: On June the 22nd, Charlotte Bomy will give advice and answers for both areas in German and in French. She has been translating German works into French since ten years and has already curated many successful events.
Last but not least, we are pleased to round off the first half of our consultation year with Paula Fürstenberg’s catch-up day on applications, stipends and synopses on June the 24th. As an author and repeat scholarship holder, she can reveal finesses that will make your application or synopsis stand out.
