In November, most of our consultation days will focus on the organizational and financial issues that freelance writers have to deal with time and again in their everyday lives.
On Wednesday, November 6, author and translator Kathrin Köller will be advising anyone who wants to get their foot in the door as an author of children’s and young adult literature. On Thursday, 21 November, poet Andra Schwarz will introduce the art of the dreaded “application prose” and explain how to summarize your own project plans in such a way that the audience’s interest is aroused and the funding application is successful.
What does proper accounting look like? What should you pay attention to? How does it all work with taxes? And what exactly is an e-invoice? On Wednesday, November 27, accounting expert Eva Stelzer will explore the realm of numbers and taxes with you and introduce you to the basics of bookkeeping. Please note: Due to professional restrictions, she is not allowed to offer tax advice, which can only be provided by tax consultants.
