Our offers for June

May was dominated by the Ninth Industry Meetup Literature, but in June we will continue with our regular consultation services as usual. On our upcoming consultation days, our experts will once again answer your individual questions on a variety of practical professional topics in free 45-minute one-to-one appointments.

The third Industry Meetup Barcamp

From May 15 to 17, 2025, our annual Industry Meetup Literature will once again take place at the Refugio in Neukölln (Lenaustraße 3-4, 12047 Berlin-Neukölln), this time dedicated to the overarching theme “My fear and me: finding security in insecure times”. As always, a very special program highlight will be our Industry Meetup Barcamp, which will take place all day on Saturday, 17 May 2025.

Fear is currently creeping into all our lives in many ways. For example, as fear of the global situation, fear of the economic crisis, fear of funding cuts or fear of technological disruptions that threaten the existence of many writers. Fear is an emotion and as such is neither good nor bad per se. But our fear wants to talk to us, and at the moment it obviously has a lot to say.

Info sessions on work stipends for German and Non-German literature

The Berlin Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion is once again awarding work stipends for German and non-German literature this year. The application deadlines are 6 May 2025 (work stipends for German literature) and 20 May 2025 (work stipends for Non-German literature) at 11 am, respectively.
To support this year’s applicants, we are offering two digital info sessions in cooperation with the Senate Department next week.
